DESCRIPTION:The money that we raise goes into a fund in our name that is managed and administered by Berks County Community Foundation. The Community Foundation also does our “back office” work for our organization. \nIn July\, they will host our Signature Third Thursday networking event in their lobby at Third and Court streets. Complimentary appetizers and beverages will be provided. \nFree parking is available at the Albert Boscov Parking Garage (across from RC Reading Movies 11 & IMAX and in the same block of as the Community Foundation) after 5 p.m. Metered street parking is free after 6 p.m. Handicapped parking is located in the small lot directly behind the Community Foundation. \nThis is one of our many free events to our members. Please feel free to bring a guest! Guests may attend two Signature Third Thursday or Happy Hour events for free before becoming a member. RSVP today!

DESCRIPTION:We are scheduled to have a boat-load of fun as we dock our Third Thursday event in a private corner of the Beverly Hills Tavern Beach Bar. \nUnfortunately\, due to a scheduling issue\, our Third Thursday event this month is on the fourth Thursday: June 27. \nLimited complimentary food paired with BHT’s happy hour specials will keep the fun going throughout the event. \nHoused in a historic building dating back to 1814\, Beverly Hills Tavern is known for its three distinct dining areas: The Tavern\, the sports bar\, and the beach bar. Numerous renovations throughout the years have helped keep the Tavern one of the best-known dining and entertainment venues in Berks County. Coupled with its sister restaurant\, the Railroad House\, these hotspots offer everything from semi-formal dining to barroom fun to relaxation on a beach with good friends\, food and drinks. \nGRYP is thrilled to be the guests of restaurateurs\, Jimmy and April Giuffrida and their wonderful BHT management and staff! \nWeather permitting\, this event will be outside. In the event of inclement weather\, we will relocate indoors. \nThis is a perfect opportunity to bring a friend to a GRYP event. He or she may join us for two free regularly-scheduled events before being required to join.
